Were are we located?

The Scottsburgh Lodge is located at 1376 North Gardner Street, Scottsburg, IN 47170. This is on North Gardner (Hwy 31) next to Orscheln and Schneck Medical . We have been located here since 1971. Prior to this the Lodge was located above a store on the East side of the Square.

Why the H?

One of the questions we often get is why does our lodge name have a H at the end of Scottsburg. Scottsburgh Lodge number 572 Scottsburg, IN received its charter on May 25, 1886. At this time Scottsburg was spelled Scottsburgh. This was the spelling for Scottsburgh until June 30, 1892 when the post office changed to Scottsburg

Other groups

Over the years Scottsburgh lodge had been a host to many other Masonic groups such as the Job's daughters, York Rite Royal Arch Masons. However over the years these groups have merged with larger area lodges. Altho, we have many memebers that are members of the Shrine, Scottish Rite and other groups, Scottsburgh lodge only is host to one orginization other than the Masonic Blue Lodge, and that is the Order of Eastern Star.
